The big field in the center of campus is a great place to fly kites when the weather is nice. Kites are usually flown on two holidays, Youth Day on May 5 and Children’s Day on June 1. Students without a traditional Chinese paper kite can pick up a cheap one in the local Beimen shopping area and join in the fun.
