Material:  Merino wool is renowned for its resilience, natural elasticity and softness.  The addition of llama and alpaca increases the resilience and insulating qualities of the fleece.  The fleecy texture of your Arelle Blanket ensures that you benefit fully from these properties.  Beware of cheaper wool fleece blankets that compromise on quality of texture and quantity of natural fibre.

Breathable: The warmth and wicking properties of merino wool are making it the natural choice for next-to-skin outdoor pursuits clothing.  The same qualities make it excellent for bedding. The texture provides support aiding circulation.  It maintains a more even temperature and humidity and promotes healthier sleep.  A healthier and safe bedding option for all ages.

Versatile:  Take your Arelle Blanket off the bed and use it in the garden, in the conservatory or on the settee.  The resilience and warmth makes an Arelle Blanket great for camping, caravanning and yachting. (Don't forget, we can make a blanket any size) You can't do all that with a duvet!

Easy to clean:  Natural fibres resist dirt and microbes.  Merino wool blankets also resist allergy causing dust mites.  We recommend shaking your Arelle Blanket occasionally, preferable outside.  Surface dirt or marks are best treated by wiping with a damp cloth.  you can use mild detergent.  If the blanket is badly stained it should be dry-cleaned by a specialist cleaner.  Treated properly your Arelle Blanket will last for many years making it excellent value.
