About Arelle Blankets

Arelle is a small company based in a village on the edge of The Quantock hills in Somerset.

We have been importing pure merino wool blankets since 2002 and have built up a close relationship with the company in Germany that makes them for us.  This has allowed us to ensure that the highest quality is maintained.  It also lets us order specific products for our customers' special requirements, something that other companies dealing in blankets made to set sizes in larger quantities cannot offer.  We succeed by offering the highest quality products available and an excellent service.  We even give our UK customers free phone calls, a freepost address and free postage!

As our business has grown we have found more applications for the benefits of merino wool and other natural fibre blankets and throws.  More of our customers tell us that they have been recommended merino wool not just for themselves but for babies, toddlers and even their pets.  That is why you will find these products on this site.
